About Wades in Paint

Miggipyn and Izile are two sisters, born and raised in the woods of rural Mississippi who both fled at different points in their lives to arrive in Brooklyn in the early and mid '00s. Both have explored a variety of media and crafts, but keep circling back to their paintings time and again.

​ There will be other things here, besides just our paintings; but at this point in time, both of us are rather fixated on canvas and paper. Honestly, we're running out of wall space; and while we are not actively trying to sell anything on this website, we probably wouldn't turn down any reasonable offers, either. It would make more room for more paintings!
